Rachel Mackey is the Herman Kahn at Hudson Institute and a PhD candidate at Boston College. She specializes in political philosophy and American politics, and is writing her dissertation on the effect of institutionalism on political life. She has taught classes on political philosophy and American government, and received the 2016 Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award at Boston College. She has worked on educational programs at Hudson Institute since 2011. Mrs. Mackey graduated from Middlebury College.
