Biography

Alexander E. Khan is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Business Litigation group. He helps clients with water and natural resources as well as commercial litigation matters.

Alexander earned his law degree at Harvard Law School, where he actively contributed to the legal and academic community as the Director of the Per Curiam blog, a research assistant, and a member of the Federalist Society.

Prior to joining Fennemore, Alexander served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence VanDyke at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Previously, he clerked for the Honorable James Teilborg at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and was a Summer Law Clerk at the Arizona Solicitor General’s Office. He developed strong research and analytics skills during his time as a research fellow for Adam White at the Hoover Institution and a research analyst for various think tanks in Washington, D.C.

Outside of the office, Alexander enjoys studying history and politics, cooking, traveling, and ranching. He is also deeply involved in his family’s business, Moon River Beef, an all-natural beef company in Arizona.
